Sidelinews covers sport in Uganda: hockey, football, cricket, rugby, tennis, schools (including USSSA games) and universities.
Every result on Sidelinews is checked by an editor before it goes live. Our reporters send results from the ground, with a photo of the umpires’ or referees’ match sheet wherever there is one, and the editor checks the score and scorers against it. Only then does it reach the site, the league tables and our result cards. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly on our Corrections page.
We also make podcasts and videos: find them on the Watch and Listen page and on our YouTube channel.
Work with us
Leagues, schools and clubs: send us your fixtures and we will cover them.
Businesses: a league sponsorship puts your logo on every result card and on the site’s partners strip, with a monthly report of how many people saw it.
